Hey, I’m Kaytlyn the creator and artist behind ITtx REAL. I was born and raised in a small mountain town in Colorado. Skiing was my life and when the snow wasn’t falling I would be hiking, camping or getting lost somewhere in the woods. When I was eighteen I visited Bozeman, MT on a quick two-day trip and just like that, I was hooked on the community and all the beautiful surroundings.

Growing up my Dad’s passion to draw, paint, sculpt and create inspired my artistic expression but it wasn’t until my early twenties that I finally found a medium that clicked. On my twenty-second birthday a road trip up the West Coast lit a fire in me. The supernatural energy of the Red Wood National Forest and Oregon Coast inspired me. The trees, the electric green moss, the crashing waves, it was all so moving. After that point I was propelled to create and share the powerful and peaceful energy of nature through my art. My goal is to deepen our connection to our natural surroundings and make elegant timeless art for your home.

ITtx REAL = It’s Real

I named my art ITtx REAL because of the natural materials I use and find on the many trips and adventures with my furry companions. I try to source all my materials with respect for the world and all it has to give. AKA - I never go chop down trees or tear down branches. I focus on acquiring quality materials that speak for themselves in my clean bold designs. I ethically source my wool, crystals and stones and try to buy from locally owned and operated stores as much as possible. It’s a top priority to support small local businesses and keep it REAL.

I believe that nature is already so elegant, and I am simply here to feature it.
